businesses, civic clubs, universities and colleges)

c. NCDOT Board of Transportation Members & SCDOT Commissioners

d. NC & SC state legislators representing station city counties

e. NC & SC US Congress persons representing station city counties

f. NC & SC US Senators (including local offices/staffs

4. Amtrak background information (services and goods purchased, employment, etc.)

5. CAPT Station City Correspondents needed

6. Volunteers needed

7. Consistent message

8. Visits to persons identified in 3.a-f must be discussed and approved in advance

9. Emails to persons identified in Contact Database must be discussed and approved in
advance

10. CAPT host special regional meetings to supplement one-on-one meetings

11. Follow-up with entities identified in Contact Database

12. Interest in a GO FUND ME campaign – is it feasible? Does anyone have experience
setting one up? Would anyone be interested in managing it?

13. Volunteers needed for additional ideas and grunt work. This is the biggest and most important task that CAPT has undertaken for years and it cannot be accomplished by a couple of officers, directors, and members.
