The meeting will be held from 12:45 pm - 2:30 pm, preceded by lunch beginning at 12:00 Noon at the Golden Corral Buffet
and Grill. The meeting location is 1540 US 29, Concord, N.C. 28025. Restaurant phone number is 704 782-0044.

Those arriving by train are encouraged to take train SB 71 arriving 8:59 am or NB 72 arriving 10:50 am to Kannapolis.
Later trains in either direction will arrive after the start of the meeting which is in Concord.
CAPT members will help with transportation to and from the Amtrak station and the meeting site.
So please indicate your arrival so someone can meet you. Concord-Kannapolis Transit also has bus service
between the Amtrak station and the restaurant. Check route and schedule information at
www.ckrider.com. Return trains depart Kannapolis
at 3:27 pm SB 75 and 5:25 pm NB 76.
All Aboard Charlotte is meeting at 10 am at La Revolucion Mexican Restaurant at 515 South Main Street.
The Chapter's "Skip Stop" Committee will meet until about 11:15 am. The restaurant is within 5-7 minutes
walking distance from the Amtrak station. It's opens at 9 am ahead of many of the other eating venues

CAPT Official Notice of Election of Officers and Directors
Directors and Officers for the Carolinas Association for Passenger Trains (501c3) will be elected at the
November 15, 2025, Annual General Membership meeting. Directors serve terms of two years, and officers
are elected yearly. The Board of Directors consists of 12 to 18 members based on the percentage of CAPT
members in North Carolina and South Carolina. This serves as official notice of the annual meeting and elections.
Any member interested in running for the board should contact any member of the present board and provide
biographical information for consideration, or be prepared to provide this information in person at the meeting.
Current directors who are ending a term of two years should notify President Martin Wheeler

if the intention is to run again!
Those who do not notify the President, or appear at the meeting will not be considered. The current CAPT Board
serves as the official Nominating Committee.
