The December 9th meeting of CAPT will be held in the Community Room at the Durham Police Department, 505 W. Chapel Hill Street. This is one block west of the Amtrak Station and is between Duke and Gregson Streets. Anyone driving from either direction should exit the Durham Freeway (NC 147) at exit 13 and turn left. The Police station is one block on the right. Enter the visitors parking lot from Chapel Hill Street. Durham area CAPT members will meet the Carolinian for those arriving by train.

For dining options before the meeting: Tylers Tap Room and Restaurant opens at 11:00 and is located on the American Tobacco Campus a couple of blocks from the Amtrak station. Satisfaction Restaurant opens at 11:30 and is located in Brightleaf Square, one block from the station.

The meeting will begin at noon and last no later than 4:30 p.m. We can take a look at the renovation going on around the current Amtrak station and see the developments in the area before lunch, or after the meeting.
