April 2007 Meeting Details


CAPT Meeting

CAPT will meet in Greenville, SC, on Saturday, April 21st at the Hyatt Regency Greenville at 220 North Main Street (map). The meeting will be held in the "Board Room" beginning at or shortly after 12 noon. For those wishing to eat lunch before the meeting, please meet in the hotel lobby at 10:30 a.m. There is a restaurant in the hotel, and numerous restaurants nearby. The phone number for the Hyatt is 800 233-1234.

The meeting is expected to last from noon until at least 2 p.m. The major topic of discussion will be a proposed petition drive planned by CAPT in South Carolina to gather support for increased rail passenger service, and future rail passenger development. We will have a proposed resolution ready to examine, and discuss ways to conduct the drive and include our new map and brochure in the effort.

CAPT would like to extend thanks to the Greenville Chapter of the National Railway Historical Society for arranging a room for our meeting during the weekend meeting of the NRHS Board of Directors.
