The Carolinas Association for Passenger Trains will meet in Columbia, S.C., on Saturday, June 12th at the Richland County Public Library. The library is located at 1431 Assembly Street. Parking meters are free in the area on weekends. We will have a room for the board meeting from 2:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

For those wanting to get together for lunch before the meeting, join us at Union Station (California Dreaming) between 12:30 p.m. and 2:30 pm. The restaurant is located at 401 South Main Street. The phone number there is 803 254-6767.

A major topic of discussion at the meeting will be status of the resolution drive in South Carolina for more and improved rail passenger service.
