CAPT Annual Membership Meeting

The December meeting of the Carolinas Association for Passenger Trains will be on Saturday, December 8, at the Red Hot and Blue Restaurant. The restaurant is located at 6615 Falls of the Neuse Road in Raleigh just north of Spring Forest Road in the Falls of the Neuse Shopping Center.

Those wishing to eat before the meeting should arrive at 11:15 a.m. Transportation will be provided from the train station for those arriving on Amtrak's northbound Carolinian. If you plan to come by train, notify CAPT Secretary Phil Astwood so adequate transportation resources can be arranged. A meeting room is reserved for lunch and the meeting afterward. The meeting will begin no earlier than 12:30 p.m. to allow time for lunch. The meeting will conclude by 4:00 p.m. so those returning home via Amtrak can get to the train station for the departure of the southbound Carolinian. The highlight of the meeting will be a program on the new Raleigh Union Station.
