Carolinas Association for Passenger Trains

December 2013 Meeting Details

CAPT Board Meeting
Columbia, S.C.
December 14, 2013

The Carolinas Association for Passenger Trains will meet at the main Richland County Library on Saturday, December 14, 2013. The address is 1431 Assembly Street and the phone number is 803-799-9084. We will be meeting in the Irwin Kahn Room on the second level. The meeting will get underway at 1:00 p.m.

Parking in the visitor's lot at the rear of the library is very limited so it is advisable to park on the street in front of the building (Assembly Street), or on the side street (Hampton Street), or the street to the rear of the building (Park Street). Parking on Saturdays is free so you don't have to worry about getting a ticket.

For those who would like to get together for lunch prior to the meeting, meet outside the library (Assembly Street entrance) between 11:00 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. We can then walk to the Marriott Hotel where lunch is served beginning at 11:00 a.m. The Marriott is at the corner of Main Street and Hampton Street (one block away). The lunch menu includes a buffet and a la carte and is fairly reasonably priced.
